Based in Essex with hybrid working opportunities, this role is ideal for a seasoned ecologist looking to make a meaningful contribution while progressing their career.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and support junior ecologists, ensuring high-quality outcomes across projects.
• Project Management: Oversee a wide range of projects, delivering timely, client-centered ecological solutions.
• Advanced Fieldwork: Plan and execute surveys focusing on protected species and habitats.
• Client Engagement: Foster strong client relationships, offering expert, bespoke advice.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed, compliant reports to support planning and development processes.

• Qualifications: Degree in ecology or a related discipline, with CIEEM membership.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and conduct advanced ecological surveys.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of ecological legislation and survey methodologies.
• Licensing: Possession of protected species licence(s).

• Competitive Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 based on experience.
