Our client based in Basildon is looking for an experienced Forklift Operative (with a valid counterbalance forklift licence) to join their logistics team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, good communication and numeracy skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Container stuffing and unloading (potentially handball at times)
- Loading and offloading trailers
- Labelling incoming and outgoing goods
- Understanding of freight management
- Maintaining a good work ethic and teamwork
- Ensuring safety at all times
- Some overtime may be required
Requirements:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence with 2 years of practical experience for insurance purposes
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good communication and numeracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Some heavy lifting required
Working Hours:

8am to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday
