Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Export Customer Service Operator to join our friendly and proactive Client in Basildon, Essex.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Contacting clients / missing shippers to look to secure more bookings when operators advise containers are low on volume.
  • Dealing with overseas agents via email / Oms to ensure effective and up to date information available for all Routed Bookings.
  • Efficiently handle amendments to bookings - CBM, weight, number of pcs.
  • Booking of haulage, (being aware of any special agreements such as free pick up etc)
  • Dealing with and resolving haulage issues (such as drivers not turning up)

You will need:

  • Confident and outgoing individual.
  • Extensive experience in a Customer Service setting.
  • Export Freight Forwarding experience - Min 2 years
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, and logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Be able to organise and multi-task.
  • Worked within a Freight Forwarding environment within the last 6 months.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Driver with own transport is desirable.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
