The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Assistant Manager to support the daily operations and development of young children in a nursery setting. This role requires a nurturing and adaptable individual who can maintain continuity in learning while making a positive impact on young children' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and overseeing age-appropriate activities that support children's development and learning.

  • Monitor children's progress and well-being, ensuring individual needs are met through tailored support.

  • Create an inclusive and supportive early years environment environment that fosters a love for learning.

  • Collaborate with nursery staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a nurturing and supportive environment for all children.

  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes positive interactions and development.

  • Maintain strong communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and well-being.

  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare responsibilities in line with school policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of nursery management experience in a nursery environment setting, with a strong understanding of the nursery curriculum.

  • Qualifications: A relevant degree in Education or a related subject, along with a Level 3 or above in Childcare or equivalent in the UK.

  • Skills: Strong early years environment management skills and the ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.

  • Training: Familiarity with safeguarding policies, assessment strategies, and inclusive nursery management practices.

To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Advanced Teaching Experience: Extensive experience in nursery management position.

  • Leadership or Coordinator Roles: Experience as a subject lead, phase leader, or involvement in extracurricular activities.

  • Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in primary education, including advanced training in literacy, numeracy, or SEN support.
