Arrange transport such as LCL, FCL, Hazardous, OOG or general cargo via truck or vessel
outside the UK for forwarders and UK customers
Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance
requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries
regulations and fiscal regimes
Processing Quotations
Process custom documentation on export system
Answer phone queries and communication sent by customers, clients, co-workers, etc
Keep the day-to-day business running smoothly, keep the customers/agents
informed/satisfied
Ensure that invoices are posted within a specified time frame
Work with the Finance Team to help manage credit control and minimize bad debts
Help out on export quotes if necessary
Help and support individuals on the team if required
You will have minimum 3 years of freight-forwarding industry experience in ocean
cargo operations
