We are seeking a dynamic and driven QHSE Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of the company’s operations meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. This position is integral to promoting safe operations across the company and driving continuous business improvement with a goal of achieving zero accidents.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure compliance with the in-house HACCP plan and maintain the COSHH system.
  • Keep Quality Systems up to date, initiating and implementing new measures and improvements.
  • Conduct systematic auditing of operations and processes to recommend and implement continuous improvement activities across all sites.
  • Maintain and enhance the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
  • Provide support and guidance on all safety-related matters, ensuring H&S Risk Assessments are current and effective.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and external awarding bodies.
  • Act as a champion for quality and compliance throughout the organisation, influencing positive changes and fostering a culture of safety and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing Quality Management Systems with a proven track record as a Quality Improvement Leader.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards such as ISO9001 and knowledge of BRC standards.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and Food Safety.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering effective presentations and managing meetings.
  • Systems proficiency, particularly with Microsoft IT packages.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites as needed.
  • Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely Qualification, experience in H&S Management, and knowledge of risk assessments.
