We are working with a medium sized freight forwarder, who are looking to recruit a Senior Sea freight Export Coordinator.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sea Freight Coordinator.
Roles involves:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of FCL and LCL export shipments, from booking to delivery.
Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders and other service providers to ensure timely and cost effective transport solutions.
Monitor shipment movement and ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance and international compliance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.
Provide advise on shipping options, routes and regulations to support client needs.
Ensure all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, commercial Invoices and packing lists are prepared and in compliance with UK and International regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments, including product, sales, finance, and compliance to ensure seamless operations and alignments with business goals.
Experience
Min 3 years experience in sea export operations, specifically handling FCL and LCL shipments.
Proven track record in key account operational activity within freight forwarding and shipping.
Confidence and ability to manage difficult customer situations effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge of Cargo Wise, including workflow and PAVE advantage.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Monday to Friday
Salary depends on experience.
