Our client in Basildon is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.
Warehouse Team Leader- Temp - Perm £12.50-£13.50 per hour
- Location: Basildon
- Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations at our Basildon facility. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who excels in logistics and team management, ensuring that warehouse activities are executed efficiently and effectively, managing a small team of 1-2 warehouse operatives
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure operational excellence.
- Work with the managers to ensure the warehouse runs efficently
- Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Facilitate smooth inbound and outbound operations.
- Picking and packing of orders
- Train new team members and promote a positive work environment.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and remain standing for extended periods.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
