Job description

DK Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Freight Forwarder with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our clientsteam. The successful candidate will specialize in air and road freight, with a strong understanding of multi-modal transportation being a significant advantage. They are all about their customers and good service.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, book, and manage air and road freight shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
• Handle all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements for air and road freight.

Multi-modal Transport:

• Utilize multi-modal transportation methods to optimize logistics solutions.
• Integrate air, road, and other transport modes to meet customer needs and improve cost-efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, specifically in air and road freight.
• Strong understanding of multi-modal transportation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using freight management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a multi-modal logistics environment.
• Relevant certifications or training in logistics and transportation.
