Trade Counter Assistant

Our client is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Trade Counter Assistant to join their team in Basildon, Essex. With experience in the aviation, aerospace, and general industries. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to expand their team and require a dedicated individual to support their sales and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Picking and dispatching customer orders.
• Processing incoming deliveries from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Assisting with customer orders received via phone and email.
• Managing customer orders received from international customers and through our websites.
• Taking incoming phone calls and providing excellent customer service.
• Managing purchase orders with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Keeping track of customer back orders and maintaining clear communication regarding delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Assisting with various commercial, customer, manufacturer, and supplier responsibilities.
