We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy accounts department in Essex. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate, driven, and committed to excellence in their professional field.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Inputting invoices onto the system.
  • Processing invoices once authorised.
  • Answering calls from suppliers and addressing their queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Processing bank statements.
  • Conducting regular payment runs.
  • Filing and managing accounts documents.
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Purchase Ledger experience or at least 2 years of experience within an office-based role.
  • Good IT skills, proficient in using accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn and develop.
