We are seeking an Accounts Assistant with strong experience in sales and purchase ledger, as well as credit control and transaction management. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic finance team.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and maintain sales and purchase ledgers.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions.
- Perform credit control duties to ensure timely payments and minimise overdue debts.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Handle queries related to invoices and payments from both clients and suppliers.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, particularly with sales and purchase ledgers.
- Strong knowledge of credit control processes and transaction management.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
