Field Service Engineer Required!

Our client is a leading manufacturer of laser marking and engraving systems.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for laser marking and engraving systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, installing machinery, and training customers on equipment usage.

This a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Field Service Engineer - Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test laser systems at customer sites, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the optimal performance of equipment. Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
  • Provide timely on-site and remote technical support to customers, diagnosing system faults and advising on corrective actions.
  • Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of laser systems to ensure safe and efficient use.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, installations, repairs, and parts used. Submit service reports and documentation promptly.
  • Travel to customer sites (domestic and international) for installation, repair, and maintenance of systems.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Field Service Engineer - Requirements:

  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer is an advantage
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Full UK driving licence.
