Premier Work Support's client are currently hiring a Sea Freight Operations Coordinator who specialises in exports for their Basildon office on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Organise Sea Freight Operations
- Assist Team Leader and Sea Freight Manager
- Handle import, export, and cross trade activities
- Complete customs declaration forms accurately
- Ensure timely operational activities and invoicing
- Maintain communication with clients and report new sales leads
- Follow up on late customer payments
- Implement and improve customer work flow efficiencies
- Provide holiday and sickness cover as needed
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in Exports
- Knowledge of CDS system (imports and exports)
- Proficient with Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours (occasional weekends)

Location: Basildon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (one-hour unpaid lunch)
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
