Our client is a large global operation who is seeking to hire a Financial Accountant. The department manages statutory account preparation for 39 legal entities, co-ordinate and review the month end close US GAAP submissions working with a shared service centre which manages the transactional finance. The role will also prepare analysis on the results to provide insights and ensure accuracy with plans to integrate some new data tool to optimise analysis.Responsibilities:路 End to end production of statutory accounts.路 Reviewing balance sheets and suggesting improvements of controls.路 Ensuring SOX control compliance.路 Main point of contact for the Auditors relating to the specific legal entities.路 To be familiar with and keep abreast of latest accounting requirements / standards and company law and apply as necessary to the Group's financial reporting.路 Undertaking ad-hoc technical accounting projects and special reviews as required.路 Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and manual journal entries for wider UK&I team.路 Review and manage finance data, cleansing it for accuracy and summarising for senior management review.路 Develop strong communication and reporting skills to supply senior management with key insights.路 Building strong relationship with local, Shared Service Centre, EMEA, Corporate Controllership and tax teams.A salary of 拢55,000-拢60,000 is on offer plus benefits.
