Personnel Selection are currently working with this fantastic client, based in Basingstoke. They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to start ASAP on a 6 month FTC.

This will be a full time office based role. There could be some degree of flexibility for a hybrid arrangement after training, but this will be discussed at interview. Our client is a well-recognised market leader and is focused on research & sustainability initiatives. 

We are looking for highly astute and experienced Financial Controllers with SAP experience and IFRS and UKGAAP FRS102. These are essential requirements for this role. 

This role will involve:

  • Ensure high-quality accounting in line with the groups principles and policies (IFRS and local stat books), ensures compliance with local government requirements.
  • Responsible for monthly accurate and in -time closing of the books, ensure proper cut-off to allow analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Continuously improve processes, in line with the Group template and reporting protocols.
  • Responsibility for preparation of the statutory accounts in conjunction with third party provider
  • Ownership of budget & forecasting process
  • Responsible for management of A/R, A/P and Fixed asset ledgers, correct and timely VAT, Corporate and coffee tax application
  • External audits

You will build strong rapport with the entire finance network within the business and with external suppliers and auditors.
