Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this role provides an excellent opportunity to engage in detailed accounting work while also contributing to business decision-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of journal entries, month-end processes, and variance analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support the forecasting process and contribute to budget planning, collaborating closely with budget holders to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and present findings to department heads, enhancing their understanding of key metrics.
  • Participate in business partnering activities at the department head level, fostering relationships and guiding financial decisions.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Have experience in management accounting and business partnering, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively.
  • Bring a proactive and communicative approach, demonstrating confidence in engaging with budget holders and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Come from a practice background or have management accounting and business partnering experience within a large organisation.
