You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing them with the financial clarity they need to make informed choices. With a blend of hands-on accounting, commercial exposure, and cross-functional collaboration, this role offers the perfect platform for an experienced Management Accountant looking to make an impact.Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Producing and coordinating monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
  • Providing commentary and financial analysis to help stakeholders understand performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Reviewing cost variances and efficiencies, delivering insightful reports to senior management
  • Building and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially to negotiate better pricing and terms
  • Managing intercompany accounting processes
  • Supporting the business with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Accountant / Finance Manager / Commercial Accountant
  • To be a qualified accountant ā€“ ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
  • A background in management accounts, ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • To be a confident communicator who can translate financial information for non-finance teams
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in data analysis and manipulation
  • To be keen to develop your commercial finance skills and take ownership of key financial processes
