Connect Group are working with a top client who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Installation Technician to join their team. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-end AV systems within luxury residential and commercial spaces.

We're looking for an experienced seasoned Lead AV engineer who is able to run a project from the technical specification and who is an excellent management of engineers and team members.

Location:Hampshire (Based on ONE client site, will involve occasional abroad travel)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring audio, video, lighting systems, and control interfaces.
  • Ensuring optimal performance and functionality of all systems.
  • Maintaining clean and organised cable installations.
  • Assembling and configuring equipment racks.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate system documentation.
  • Working closely with project managers, and other engineers.
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients.

Experience Required:

  • Experience with installation and configuration of cameras, microphones, LED displays.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience within AV installations in a commercial/residential field.
  • Proven experience in installing and integrating audio-visual systems, including audio equipment (speakers, amplifiers), video displays (projectors, TVs), lighting systems, and control interfaces.
  • Ability to conduct thorough testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Experience in proper cable routing, dressing, and securing to maintain a clean and organized installation.
  • Ability to assemble and configure equipment racks, ensuring proper ventilation and cable management.
