Accounts Payable Clerk - Basingstoke, Hampshire - 3 month contract to permanent - £18ph - £21ph umbrella rate - (Hybrid 2 days in the office)
FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with an industry leading Pharmaceutical business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Due to a recent system project and growth we are on the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the business on a 3 month contract to permanent.
The duties of the Accounts Payable Clerk role include:
- Processing multi-currency purchase invoices
- Monitoring AP mail box
- Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on resulting queries
- Dealing with telephone and email supplier queries
- Participate in process improvement projects, ensure best practice and offer ideas for continuous improvement
- Flexible approach and open to continuous improved ways of working
- Intercompany recharges on a monthly basis
- Working as part of the European Finance Team
- Ensuring accurate VAT records
- Preparation of Supplier payments on a weekly basis
- Month end accrual journals and schedule completion
- Intercompany statement reconciliation
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Help the Finance Manager with ledger review at month end
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will:
- Have at least 3+ years Accounts Payable experience.
- SAP experience - desirable
