Area Sales Manager
South of England
Salary Dependent on Experience
Our client are looking for an individual to be a key member of their sales team, supporting the evolution of the company during a busy and exciting period of growth!
Area Sales Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyse potential new sources of business that fall into the category of new markets
- Build lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Oversee and manage the sales operations of the South of England
- Travelling to customer sites across the South of England, supporting customers with their purchases
The ideal Area Sales Manager will:
- Have a proven track record in an external sales role (ideally 3 years’ experience)
- Have previous experience in a plant sales, tipper sales, drum mixer sales or rental sales
- Other experience including volumetric mixers, excavators, or telehandlers
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the target construction markets and their culture
- Have good strategic planning skills
- Be IT literate e.g., Microsoft Office packages
