Complaints Advisor based in Basingstoke, RG21 The Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm

Offering £23,400 - £25,000 depending on experience

Our client offer various services from simple heritage reports for homeowners wishing to extend their houses, through to extensive master planning advice and landscape assessments for developers. They offer a bespoke, tailored service to suit individual needs.

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong customer service experience is required.
  • Complaint Handling &/or Life & Pensions would be desirable.
  • Experience of investigating the root cause of issues and using sound judgement to provide effective and empathetic resolutions
  • Teamwork - We believe that a great team needs great people who are passionate about helping people and providing great service as one team.
  • Listening and communication skills are core to what we do. You will need to be able to communicate complex matters in a simple and supportive way.
  • Someone who can quickly understand the customer need and place a real focus on resolving issues and queries effectively and empathetically.
  • Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. word, excel) together with attention to detail are essential for these roles.
  • Good written communication - part of the role is pulling together letters that will go out to customers so that need to have good grammar and spelling, good eye for detail

What will you be doing?

  • Handling inbound customer service complaint calls
  • Ensuring to deliver a response in a timely manner either by email or call.
  • Prioritise and clear the queue having contacted clients and customers
  • Giving clear and concise information to customers with confidence and knowledge
  • Working in line with company standards and service level agreements
  • Using inhouse systems to log calls and amendments
