Databricks Data Analyst (OBIEE to Databricks Migration)
Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in seeking a Databricks Data Analyst with experience in Oracle OBIEE migrations to Databricks. The analyst will play a key role in supporting data migration efforts and optimising data structures as the client transitions to a modern Databricks data lake environment.
Contract Assignment Details
- Location: Near Eastleigh, Hampshire (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite)
- Duration: Initial 3-6 Months Contract (extension possible through to end of 2025)
- Day Rate: £450-500 per day
The Databricks Data Analyst will require experience in:
- Utilities or telecoms type experience is a nice-to-have.
- Proven experience supporting data migration to Databricks and data lakes.
- Strong hands-on data analysis skills, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation across large datasets.
- Expertise in data modelling, reporting, and ensuring data integrity during migration.
- Experience with modern data platforms, including data lakes and cloud architectures, especially Databricks.
- Ability to manage complex data pipelines and transform data from structured and unstructured sources using SQL, Python, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of large-scale business system transformations and optimising data integration processes.
- Oracle OBIEE experience is a nice-to-have.
