Creative Art Teacher - Basingstoke Academics have an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified Creative Art Teacher to join a co-educational secondary provision in Basingstoke. The school specialise in supporting young people aged 10-16 years that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and other associated needs, the staff work exceptionally hard to provide a learning environment enabling the students to thrive. The ideal candidate will need QTS or the equivalent, with proven experience working as an Art Teacher.This position requires the Teacher to undertake class teaching and is inclusive of associated lesson prep, assessment, recording and reporting work in a subject specialism. You'll need to feel confident in imparting knowledge skills and understanding to each pupil following planned schemes of work that deliver the National Curriculum both within and, if appropriate, outside the prescribed Key Stages and programmes of study for each subject delivered. As this role is for a Creative Art Teacher, you may be expected to teach across a few disciplines including Art & Design, Photography, Music - so if, alongside your experience and qualifications, you're passionate about any aspect of the Creative Arts then this could be for you.
