Art Teacher - SEN - Basingstoke

I'm currently seeking a calm, positive and creative Art Teacher to join a unique all-through school in the Basingstoke area. They specialise in providing education and care to young people between the ages of 5 and 16. Each child has a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs as well as additional, associated needs.The school is purpose built with specialist classrooms and extensive external grounds, their main aim is to provide opportunities to children to help them to thrive and encourage them to reach their potential with the skills necessary to overcome barriers. Building confidence and strong self-esteem plays a significant role in their student's ability to learn and achieve. This would be a full time role and could be a permanent placement for the right candidate. You will be expected to plan and prepare Art lessons for the relevant year group, demonstrating skills and understanding of varying levels of learners. The ideal person should have -
