An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Recruiter to join a small and friendly HR team. My client is seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual with recruitment and administrative experience who is passionate about making a difference.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the response from direct recruitment adverts, including managing the recruitment email inbox.
  • Contact suitable candidates to discuss roles and the recruitment process.
  • Meet and greet interviewees and facilitate the interview processes, conducting interviews when necessary for a variety of roles.
  • Liaise with external recruiters, local colleges, universities, and career events.
  • Undertake HR recruitment and on-boarding administration, including creating, writing, and placing job adverts.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks such as sending and chasing references, undertaking DBS checks, and Right to Work checks.
  • Prepare contracts of employment and associated documentation.
  • Create all ID badges.
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly recruitment reports.
  • Support the HR team and participate in Safer Recruitment training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment or administrative roles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with candidates.
  • Ability to undertake and manage detailed administrative tasks.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
