Commercial Property Solicitor (with career progression) - Basingstoke

Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor looking for a new opportunity to grow and potentially lead a department? My client, a legal 500 law firm is seeking a talented individual to join their established Commercial Property team, with the option to step into a Head of Department role for the right candidate. This role offers a broad range of commercial property work within a collaborative and client-focused Business Services team.

About the RoleAs a key member of our Commercial Property team, you’ll manage a varied caseload covering all areas of commercial property. For candidates with the right experience and leadership qualities, there is the option to head the department, overseeing a small team, driving business development, and reporting directly to the Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property matters with a focus on delivering excellent client service.
  • (For candidates stepping into the Head of Department role) Lead and mentor the Commercial Property team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, building strong client relationships.
  • Report to Partners on team performance, objectives, and strategic goals.
