Premier Recruitment Group is partnering with a long-established law firm in the Basingstoke area to find a Senior Corporate & Commercial Solicitor. This flagship department of the firm has a well-developed, expanding, and ambitious client base covering the South of England and London. The team handles transactions of significant size and complexity, reflecting the firm's high profile in the sector.

We are looking for a dynamic and progressive individual to join our Corporate & Commercial team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development of the department and client base, dealing with a broad range of work including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, shareholders' agreements, LLP and partnership matters, and commercial contracts covering sales of goods and services, IT, IP, and data protection. The department also provides insolvency services, including transactions involving administrators and liquidators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a diverse caseload, including complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and commercial contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Provide leadership and support to junior team members
  • Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the Corporate & Commercial team

Requirements:

  • 8+ years PQE in Corporate & Commercial law
  • Ambitious with a drive to develop your own caseload and progress within the firm
  • Confident networker with the ability to attract and build relationships with clients and professional contacts
  • Leadership and management qualities to support and develop junior team members
