This is a leadership role of a high growth SME which offers a clear path to a Managing Director, position, and that plays a crucial part in the growth strategy with a second site opening this year and 2 more planned for 2026.

Your responsibilities as Operations Manager:

Leadership & People Development:
  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor managers and team members, fostering a caring, positive, engaged, and high-performing culture.
  • Lead and support site managers, ensuring smooth operations and strong team morale.
  • Motivate and manage the front office, sales, customer service, and marketing teams to consistently achieve monthly turnover targets.
  • Hold regular team meetings, ensuring open communication, collaboration, and continuous development.
Operational & Compliance Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of running licensed premises, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain high standards across all sites in licensing laws, health & safety, and operational best practices.
  • Manage budgets for labour, training, maintenance, cleaning, uniforms, and other operational costs.
  • Take full ownership of maintenance and repairs across all locations.
  • Ensure all departments have the tools, training, and support needed to perform at their best.
Performance & Reporting:
  • Monitor and report weekly KPIs across sites, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all business areas are performing efficiently and meeting strategic objectives.
Growth & Business Development:
  • Play a key role in delivering the companys growth strategy, leading the successful opening of new sites.
  • Manage recruitment, training, procurement, and budgets for new locations.
  • Drive business growth initiatives, improving customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency.
