Payroll Administrator - Basingstoke

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 (Dependant on your experience)

Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8am-5pm

Wednesday, 8am-1:30pm

Friday, 8am-2pm

The Role

Join a friendly team that processes payroll data for multiple branches, assisting with new starters and leavers, verifying statutory payments and handling payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for approximately 1,500 employees across designated branches.
  • Manage new starters, documentation, payslips, sickness and compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Verify and adjust employee hours, apply statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) and handle tax and bank detail updates.
  • P45's

Requirements:

  • Strong Payroll experience with knowledge of PAYE, NI, SSP and SMP
  • Experience processing high volume payroll
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
