Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to join an established organisation located in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Working as part of the estimating team, the successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle whilst ensuring profit margins and commercial interests are met.

This role would suit a bright individual with strong business acumen and the ability to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Please note, this role is fully office based.

Key duties:

  • Accurately build project costs ensuring competitiveness of tender whilst maintaining profit margins
  • Provide progress updates on due tenders to ensure clients are kept in the loop with potential delays
  • Communicate any significant risks on tendered projects to senior management
  • Attend meetings to discuss priced work with clients
  • Ensure production sheets are accurate, contain all required information and are clearly laid out
  • Continually monitor planned dates and attend planning meetings to discuss project progress prior to issuing contracts.
  • Organise project inductions and communicate to installation teams
  • Organise hotels/ accommodation requirements for the project
  • Material procurement
  • Liaise with installation teams throughout the duration of the project
  • Attend on site meetings to discuss project progress as required

Required skills:

  • Detail orientated with a methodical approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong numerical and costing skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to manage time effectively ensuring deadlines are met
  • Full UK Driving Licence - essential for site visits
