Our client, a leading player in the rail industry, is currently seeking an experienced Earthworks Site Agent to join their team. This role involves working on various projects across the Wessex route, including tasks related to new and replacement bridges, tunnels, access, structural refurbishments, and retaining structures, as part of the Southern Renewals Enterprise (CP7).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of multiple schemes within the structures portfolio
  • Producing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implementing safe systems of work
  • Ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
  • Providing technical and project management expertise
  • Maintaining strong organisational and management skills
  • Overseeing temporary works coordination
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Offering guidance on the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Experience working on civils/structures projects, ideally within a rail environment
  • Proven technical and project management abilities
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Capability in producing Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
  • Understanding of Safety, Quality, and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
  • PTS and CITB SMTS or equivalent
  • CSCS and Temporary Works Co-ordinator certification
