Location: Basingstoke
Hours: 27hrs 8am-5pm or 9am – 6pm
Working pattern: 3 days a week (flexible) including Saturdays
Job Type: Temp to Perm, Part-time

My client is seeking a professional Receptionist / Host to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all customers and visitors receive a warm welcome and that their needs are efficiently met. The ideal candidate will be the face of our organisation, providing exceptional service and maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

Staff and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is always tidy.
Greet customers and direct them to the seating area, offering refreshments while they wait.
Handle and coordinate all calls and visitors, taking detailed notes and paging staff members as necessary.
Establish and maintain a system to monitor the whereabouts of key staff.
Keep customer refreshments and the waiting area stocked and tidy, including the kitchen area in the showroom.
Process all outgoing post ready for dispatch each evening.
Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property, reporting any faults or hazards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Smart appearance and professional demeanour.
Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
