Receptionist / Showroom Host
- Hourly Rate: £11.44ph
- Location: Basingstoke
- Hours: 27hrs 8am-5pm or 9am – 6pm
- Working pattern: 3 days a week (flexible) including Saturdays
- Job Type: Temp to Perm, Part-time
My client is seeking a professional Receptionist / Host to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all customers and visitors receive a warm welcome and that their needs are efficiently met. The ideal candidate will be the face of our organisation, providing exceptional service and maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Staff and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is always tidy.
- Greet customers and direct them to the seating area, offering refreshments while they wait.
- Handle and coordinate all calls and visitors, taking detailed notes and paging staff members as necessary.
- Establish and maintain a system to monitor the whereabouts of key staff.
- Keep customer refreshments and the waiting area stocked and tidy, including the kitchen area in the showroom.
- Process all outgoing post ready for dispatch each evening.
- Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property, reporting any faults or hazards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Smart appearance and professional demeanour.
- Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
