CMA are delighted to be assisting their long-standing client with the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Assistant for their growing services-based business, near Basingstoke. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to join an exciting business in a period of growth and help shape the finance team for the Group finance function.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
- Processing of supplier invoices and payments.
- Bank statement posting and bank reconciliations.
- Dealing with supplier queries.
- Processing employee expenses and payments.
- Liaising with credit control to resolve any bank receipt queries.
- Liaising with project teams regarding purchase order invoices and cost reconciliation.
- Providing support to the financial controller in month end processing, including analysis.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
- Experience of working within in finance team or similar role.
- No formal qualifications required, training with be provided where necessary.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office would be an advantage.
- Strong team, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
