Salary: 26,000 to 33,000 plus excellent benefits package including flexible working. Can be full-time or part-time.

Our client is a top 50accountancy practice who provide expert solutions for entrepreneurial businesses and private individuals in Central and Southern England. A new opportunity has arisen for anAccounts Semi-Seniorto join ourclients BasingstokeAccounts team you should be ACCA / ACA part qualified and have at least 2 years UK practice accounts experience. This is a permanent full-time or part-time role with hybrid and flexible working options.

Accounts Semi-Senior duties:

  • Building long lasting client relationships.
  • Working on a variety of interesting and complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, manager and partners when required.
  • Using a variety of accounting software packages including CCH, Sage, and Xero.
  • Developing and applying your technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Directors.
  • Preparing working papers, statutory accounts and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations.
  • Managing own workload in a timely and efficient manner while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations.
  • Supervising, training, and assisting more junior members of the team.

Accounts Semi-Senior requirements:

  • ACCA / ACA part qualified.
  • At least 2 years UK practice accounts experience.
  • University degree with 2.1 or higher or 3 good A-Level results (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player.
  • Confident, positive, professional, and can-do attitude.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly.
  • Create a positive impression with clients and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach, prepared to go the extra mile.
  • Enjoy developing junior staff.
