Signature Recruitment Bristol is thrilled to partner with a prestigious Chartered Accountancy Practice located in the picturesque heart of Bath. Our client is seeking a qualified accountant to join their thriving practice as an Accounts Manager. This company are going from strength to strength, growing year on year. This role has come around due to organic growth within the company.

Joining a team of 20, you will be looking after clients’ accounts and managing a small team. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week, core hours being 9am to 5.30pm but they are flexible around this.

The role

As an Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning and delivery of accounts assignments. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working on client projects including forecasting and implementation of new systems.
  • Ensuring team activity is up to standard to ensure that deadlines are being met and to company standard
  • Coordination of teams to ensure that client needs are being met
  • Line manage team members including leading appraisals and assignment reviews
  • Identify new business opportunities

Requirements

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Need to have experience with a portfolio of clients
  • has practise experience (preferred)
