Autograph Recruitment are excited to be exclusively partnered with a well-established professional services client based in Bristol.  Having recently aligned their service offerings they are experiencing significant growth and have impressive, ambitious plans for continued growth over the next 1 - 5 years.

The Opportunity:

To support this growth and help navigate the business through a period a change and beyond, they are looking to appoint a highly effective, hands-on Accountant to work closely with the founding Director and CFO.

This is a crucial role in shaping the future of the business and will offer, the right candidate, a fantastic autonomous role.  You will, naturally, manage the day-to-day finances of the company whilst also suggesting, and implementing, changes in process to provide business efficiencies.  You will be exposed to all aspects of the business and will be the finance expert. 

As Finance Manager, you will:

  • Manage and mentor a bookkeeper
  • Be responsible for reconciling the income between the accounts and CRM to ensure all income has been correctly accounted for
  • Prepare accounts so that statutory accounts and tax returns can be prepared
  • Work with the CFO on projects to redesign the finance reporting structures, cashflow forecasting etc

The Ideal Candidate will :

  • Be a minimum of AAT qualified 
  • Have experience of preparing accounts
  • Have experience within a regulated environment
  • Have experience, or be confident, to make recommendations for change and deliver them
