Your new company
In 2018, this business was acquired by an international group who have since heavily invested in the site with state-of-the-art facilities. Over the past 6 years, the company has gone through rapid growth and is a leader in its industry. To support this and planned future growth, they are looking for a Financial Controller.


Your new role
Reporting into the Director of Finance, this role will lead on all things finance. Along with the management of a small team, this will include:

  • Produce long-term plans, budgets and forecasts to map and analyse the performance of the company
  • Ensure standardised controls are in place across the site
  • Manage all weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting, management accounts and continually look for efficiencies to speed up processes.
  • Monitor cashflow and currency requirements
  • Support year-end audit processes
  • Monitor and analyse costs and KPIs against budget
  • Develop new systems and processes whilst business partner with site and leaderships teams



What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant with good technical experience. We would also consider someone that is part qualified or QBE with relevant management experience. We are looking for a strong people leader that has experience in a transactional environment. It would be beneficial to have manufacturing or FMCG experience or have experience with stock. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of various IT systems and good MS Excel is essential.
