Juice is supporting a unique SME in their search for a new Financial controller reporting in to the Managing Director.This suits someone with great people skills who is keen to shape, define and improve the business by working closely with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team
DAY TO DAY Preparation and overseeing of detailed monthly management accounts by location and for the company as a whole
Provide a month end Management Information pack including Profit and Loss variance Analysis, KPIs, Sales base analysis and bookings and cost analysisPreparation of annual budgets & forecastsCash management and forecasting,Overall responsibility for payrollPreparation of VAT returns and filingWorking with and supporting the senior management team to make recommendations and improvements WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:Someone who is 'hands on' & enthusiastic and willing to take ownership of the finance function and lead from the front with a can do attitudeExperience of working in a small team environment within the SME sector and liaising and working with colleagues and operation managers located around the country.At least four to five years’ experience in an accounting role, have a good attention to detail, and have the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.Ideally - experience of Xero, Sage and Microsoft packages and Payroll.Be willing to travel as necessary to bases located throughout the UKBe an excellent communicator both written and oral to non-finance peopleAND FOR YOU:Company pension25 days holidayOn site parking
