We are working with a highly respected national financial planning and employee benefits organisation to recruit a Protection Administrator. Our client is an industry leading business that has an outstanding reputation across the country, they have multiple offices across the UK and have grown considerably over the past few years.

The Protection Adviser Support Specialist will play a vital role in managing life insurance applications, ensuring a seamless process for both clients and advisers. The client offers comprehensive training, full exam support, and excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Submitting life insurance applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Communicating with clients to gather information and provide updates
  • Liaising with insurers and medical professionals to facilitate a smooth process
  • Monitoring application progress and ensuring timely policy issuance
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of life insurance, income protection, and business protection products
  • Assisting financial planners and paraplanners with insurance-related queries
  • Ensuring all processes adhere to industry regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a financial services or protection-focused administrative role
  • Knowledge of life insurance, critical illness, and income protection products (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and providers
  • Experience with Intelligent Office (iO), UnderwriteMe, or Iress Exchange is a plus
  • A proactive and professional approach with a keen eye for detail
