My client is a start-up sales agency within the education industry and after strong first year results, they are looking to expand their small team. They are looking for an experienced business development manager to join their fast-paced team. Within this role, you will be responsible for building effective relationships with prospective customers and stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth within advertising and sponsorship sales.
Responsibilities:
? Develop a sales pipeline
? Implement sales plans and strategies
? Follow up on all leads through sales calls, emails and client meetings
? Create clear advertising and partnership plans alongside the team
? Manage the overall sales journey for all new and existing clients
? Build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
? Ensure effective communication with B2B customers
? Report and forecast revenue from all your customers
? Conduct desk research and identify selling possibilities
? Maintain records on CRM systems to ensure accurate revenue forecasts
Skills & Experience:
? Excellent verbal and written communication
? Able to work under pressure and to targets
? Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
? 5+ years' experience within a sales role, sales agency experience desired but not essential
