Our client is seeking a hardworking and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer, able to cover contracts across the South West and South Wales regions. The company is a well-known name within the industry, who provide a wide variety of water / legionella services to clients, so there are excellent opportunities for cross-training. Applicants would benefit from access to the M3 and M4 for easier travel to client sites. They are paying competitively on a basic salary and offering comprehensive packages, including company vehicle and overtime opportunities.
You will be travelling between: Bath, Bristol, Frome, Trowbridge, Devizes, Wells, Warminster, Amesbury, Andover, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Yate, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeoville, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Chepstow, Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Pontypridd, Bridgend.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have existing experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- As a minimum, you will have undertaken: Showerhead Descales, Water Sampling, Temperature Monitoring and TMV Servicing
- Must have a rounded understanding of Hot & Cold water systems, ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Ideally you will hold training / qualifications relating to the industry, such as a TMV course or Cleans & Disinfections course
- Comfortable using IT applications to produce reports
- Good customer-facing skills
The Role:
- You will be working as a Water Hygiene Engineer, representing the company across client sites
- Showerhead descales / disinfections
- Inspections, cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- TMV servicing & testing
- Documenting works carried out and taking photographs whilst on site
- Being punctual to appointments
- Working in accordance with industry guidelines and health & safety procedures
