The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Solar Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality solar and battery installations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction at every step. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Work closely with the installation team to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting on solar systems.

  • Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and codes of practice.

  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical aspects to customers in a clear and friendly manner.

  • Work at heights and in various weather conditions, following all safety protocols.

  • Support the growth of the business by contributing to a positive company culture and helping us expand our customer base.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in solar panel installation, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (required for travel to various sites within a 75-mile radius of Bath).

  • Experience working at heights (e.g., on rooftops or elevated structures).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • A passion for renewable energy and a desire to help homeowners transition to solar power.

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in dealing with customers and a commitment to providing excellent service.

  • Part of a competent person scheme (e.g., NAPIT or NICEIC).
