Robert Half are delighted to be supporting an international organisation in Bath on the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner (Projects) to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA studier to join an established Finance team and accelerate their career.

Our client adopts a hybrid working model, that would require you in their central Bath office for 2 days per week.

Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage monthly project accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Conduct regular finance project reviews, providing strategic guidance and performance insights.
  • Oversee debtor management and risk mitigation within the project portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Project Operations Team to support financial decision making.
  • Present financial analysis and monthly commentary to project leadership teams.
  • Manage multiple cost centres and report on Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Compile ad hoc reports, presentations, and respond to information requests.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the role.

Your Profile:

  • Must be actively studying for ACCA or CIMA professional qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a similar position, ideally within a professional services, engineering or construction industry.
  • A confident and proactive individual able to work well both as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and system skills.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £40-45k dependant on experience plus benefits including a generous pension scheme, life assurance, enhanced parenthood leave and more.
