Group Head of Finance
Robert Half have been retained by a manufacturing business based in Bath to recruit a Group Head of Finance with scope to progress to Finance Director in the future. This is the perfect opportunity for a current ambitious Group FC or similar looking for a step up and ability to broaden their skills within a more commercially focused role.
The Role
As the Group Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering financial strategy and optimising operational performance.You will lead a talented team of finance professionals, driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives to support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Your insights will be instrumental in guiding the growth trajectory and ensuring financial sustainability within a dynamic industry. Key Duties:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial activities
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, sales, and engineering to align financial objectives with business operations
- Supporting on commercial bids and proposals, as well as business cases
Your Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW etc)
- Able to communicate at all levels and present to Board/Exec level
- Experience working within an ever-changing environment and working to tight deadlines
- Ideally experienced in corporate reporting
- Ambitious and keen in attitude
