Robert Half are partnering with a market leader based in the heart of Bath. Looking for a dynamic Head of Finance who will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the business, driving commercial performance, managing financial risk, and ensuring robust financial governance. This role supports the leadership team by providing financial insights, managing budgets, and controlling project costs, while also building collaborative relationships across the company.

Location: Bath

Duration: 6 Month FTC

Salary: £75,000 (Plus benefits)

Role: Head of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial and financial performance, ensuring alignment with UK strategy.
  • Act as a key business partner to the COO, supporting strategic planning and tactical execution.
  • Manage commercial risk, operational controls, cash flow, credit, and risk assessments.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to align financial goals and drive performance.
  • Lead the finance function, delivering monthly reports, quarterly financials, and decision support for executives.
  • Ensure integrity of financial data and manage local finance systems, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare board reports, manage regional office costs, and handle ad hoc financial requests.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Senior-level experience in finance with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong risk management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Proven leadership and strategic thinking
