We have a UK leading provider of Asbestos Management services who due to continued growth are currently seeing to take on someone who can ideally carry out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties. The successful candidate will be working on across Commercial, Residential, Local Authority, and Public Sector sites. Due to the nature of the role, our client is willing to take on a candidate who only holds the BOHS P402 and/ or P403/4 qualification who is looking to join a company where they can grow professionally and expand their skills. Our clinet can offer training into further Pcert qualifications as well as cross training into other environmental sectors, company vehicle, and generous holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Keynsham, Yate, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury , Frome, Warminster, Chippenham, Swindon, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Marlborough, Devizes, Trowbridge, Bridgewater, Taunton, Ilminster, Wellington, Tiverton, Exeter, Minehead, Chepstow, Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Cardiff, Caerphilly.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold a combination of the BOHS P402 and / or P403/4 or RSPH equivalent.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit, ideally carrying out both surveying and analytical duties.
" Well versed and up to date knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" IT literate, confident in producing reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent organisational skills, working to strict deadlines.
The Role:
" Conducting management, refurbishment, demolition surveys.
" Ensuring to carry out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Carrying out 4 stage clearances.
" Undertaking personal, leak, background, and re-assurance air testing.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using industry recognised systems to produce detailed reports.
" Providing support and technical advice to clients when needed.
