Key Responsibilities
As a Health Care Assistant, your primary duties will include:
- Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, weight) and reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Supporting patients with daily activities like eating and drinking.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of patient areas and equipment.
- Following care plans and documenting observations accurately.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A minimum of 6 months of UK experience in the social care sector within the past 2 years.
- A valid UK Driver's license and access to a car (desirable but not mandatory).
- A DBS on the update service (this can be applied for through us if you do not have one).
