Robert Half is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our 3000+ employees across a diverse range of countries. You'll have the unique opportunity to manage payrolls in the UK, France and Australia, overseeing benefits, share schemes, and pensions, all while enjoying significant opportunities for professional growth

Location: South East Bristol (1 day a week in the office)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £275pd - £300pd (Via umbrella)

Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across international regions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and stay up to date with changes.
  • Collaborate with the People Team to ensure accurate and timely benefit contributions, including multiple UK pension schemes, private healthcare, and share schemes.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for our managed service payroll provider.
  • Design, compile, and maintain monthly reports for key stakeholders and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Oversee the time and attendance system, including onboarding and training of new users.
  • Address escalated colleague queries across all geographies.

Essentials:

  • Strong UK payroll experience of 5+ years, with expertise in pensions, benefits, and statutory compliance obligations.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience managing payroll for a workforce of approximately 3000 employees.
